The fact that you’re struggling doesn’t make you a burden. It doesn’t make you unlovable or undesirable or undeserving of care. It doesn’t make you too much. Or too sensitive or too needy. It makes you human.

Meet

Megan Healy, LSW, M.Ed

As a queer sex, relationship, and trauma therapist, I create a kind, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for your healing, growth, and expansion. I meet you where you are, supporting you every step of the way as you achieve your goals.

About Megan

My background in music, theater, and summer camps instills an energetic and personable approach to therapy, making it easier to build a genuine connection, especially when navigating sensitive topics like trauma. I believe there’s no “wrong way” to have a body or engage with consensual partners, and my aim is to empower you to embrace your sexuality, gender identity, and relationships authentically. I’m an educator at heart, passionate about clear communication and helping you understand yourself and your experiences better.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including adolescents exploring the beginning of their sexual journeys, adults healing from the impacts of abuse, and Veterans regaining autonomy after trauma. My practice is also deeply informed by a commitment to cultural responsiveness, recognizing the unique experiences of sexual, gender and relational minorities, sex workers, and those from varied racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.

Ultimately, my goal is for you to feel empowered, understood, and more connected to yourself and others. Together, we’ll navigate your path towards healing from sexual, relationship, religious, or medical trauma, improving communication, and building the intimate life you desire.

Outside of therapy, you’ll find me enjoying dance fitness classes, hiking with my dog, and watching movies with my cat—activities that also help me stay grounded and bring positive energy to our work together.
