LGBT+, Queer & Gender-Affirming Counseling

Dr. Neil “Nelly” Cannon has been treating the LGBTQ community in Colorado since 2006.  Nelly works closely with and provides clinical supervision to every clinician on our team.  Nelly is committed to passing on their decades of experience working with sexual minorities to this next generation of amazing clinicians that we have on our team.  Each clinician on our team is highly committed to the LGBTQ community.  The Cannon Institute truly is a place where all are welcome. 

Our approach is rooted in being strength-based, and sex-positive. At the Cannon Institute, we provide individual therapy and relationship counseling to folx of all relationship configurations, i.e., poly, ethical non-monogamy, D/s, polycules, etc.

About Cannon Institute

Dr. Neil Cannon has been involved with the LGBTQ+ community in Denver since 2006. He ran his first therapy group back in 2006 and provided diversity training for corporations as well as the federal government.  

Our team at The Cannon Institute specializes in helping people who are looking for individual or couples LGBTQ therapy, sexual orientation, or gender identity with a strength-based sex-positive approach.
