Despite living in a time of unprecedented sexual freedom in America, the practice of policing sexuality has continued unabated since the days of the Puritans.

About Michelle

Hi! My name is Michelle Stromme. I specialize in working with out-of-control sexual behavior (sex addiction), low libido, & couples. Are the intimacy and spark not as good as they used to be? Are you feeling alone, unfulfilled sexually? Does sex hurt? Do you feel that you must lie to your partner(s) about your fantasies or desires? You are not alone, and you are not broken. The human body and soul need connection, compassion, and pleasure. I am committed to helping you get or regain that as an individual and with your partner(s). I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. No topic is off-limits in my therapy sessions.

I have worked extensively with sex offenders, folks with trauma, and done years of crisis work! There is nothing you cannot bring to me. I believe growth comes from working through difficult issues. I have a non-judgmental approach to helping my clients reach their goals.

Intimate relationships are an especially important part of life, and everyone deserves to feel fulfilled in this area. Let’s help you reclaim your pleasure & joy! I look forward to meeting you.

When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 34 years, my 4 dogs, 5 cats, and my mother. To me, family is everything! My personal life informs my work like. Sometimes I might give you insight based on a show I watched that week, my experience with my husband or son, or share with you a theory that I find very helpful. I have found post-pandemic that we are all so tender & more than ever need community & care! Personally, knitting, slowing down & cherishing my personal time has taken on a whole new quality as I focus on what is most important to me. This year I look forward to spending more time outside in nature and exploring the Pacific Northwest!
