Intimacy is not something that just happens between two people; it is a way of being alive. At its core, it is the capacity to be present and engaged with another person without losing your sense of self.

About Amy
Life can be incredibly confusing and overwhelming. Seeking support can be the first step in gaining peace, calm, clarity and direction. My goal as a therapist is to provide you with a space that is warm, accepting, and open. My approach is to work collaboratively with you to help you create a life and relationships that are fulfilling and meet your goals..
I work with couples and individuals on anything that has to do with connection, intimacy, romance, sex and relationships. Common issues I help folks with are:
- Passion, romance, intimacy, and sexuality.
- New patterns for healthy communication.
- Healing trauma for a greater sense of peace
- Improved sexual functioning
- Reducing anxiety
- Discovering and creating conditions for authentic experience of pleasure
How I can Help:
I help couples to unlearn patterns of communication that are no longer serving them in order to teach healthy new practices that facilitate love and collaboration. I use these skills to help to break through the awkwardness of discussing sexual needs in order to create fulfilling sex lives. I utilize behavioral-based practices to help couples get out of their heads and to experience genuine pleasure and connection in the bedroom.
I am EMDR trained and that allows me to help individuals address traumatic or difficult life events in order to move forward, be empowered, and create the fulfilling life they deserve.
