Meet

Crista Reid , MA, LPCC Intern

Hello, my name is Crista, and I am here to guide you with creative, compassionate, and clear direction toward claiming more pleasure, wellness, and confidence when it comes to all things related to sexuality, intimacy, and desire.

About Crista

I believe humans are inherently sensual and erotic beings, and embracing more sexual wellness supports our overall quality of life as well as the quality of our intimate relationships. My passion lies in employing creative techniques to help you get your thinking mind in touch with your feeling body. Not sure what that might mean? Don’t worry, I’m dedicated to fostering open dialogue about where you are in your journey, whether working individually or with couples.

Central to my therapeutic approach is somatic therapy, which seeks to integrate the mind and body harmoniously. In my practice, I incorporate various creative modalities such as music, movement, and art, always tailored to your comfort level. My therapeutic values include experiential and humanistic methodologies, trauma-informed practices, and a kink and ENM informed background.

My journey towards becoming a sex therapist was inspired by my role as the director of a local dance troupe, where I worked extensively with individuals of all genders on themes of sexual confidence and authentic expression through movement and performance. Beyond my professional endeavors, I find joy in dancing, exploring the beauty of the Rocky Mountains with my dog, Jewels, and expressing my creativity through jewelry making and stained glass art.

I’m eager to embark on this journey with you, guiding you through the dance of life towards a deeper connection with sexuality, trust, desire, and communication skills through compassionate and sensitive support, no matter your background.
