Danielle Willner, MFT Intern
Each of us carries deeply personal stories. I believe therapy can be a space of incredible healing and radical self-acceptance, one that allows us to rewrite some of those stories without the associated shame or fear we may have connected to them, especially around sex, sexuality, and desire.
About Danielle
My approach is social justice-informed, and centered around authenticity and connection to help you find your identity, explore intimacy, and engage in personal transformation, however that may look for you.
As a queer, neurodivergent human, I am particularly attuned to the experiences of LGBTQ+ and neuroexpansive clients. My lived experiences in those spheres, as well as the kink and non-monogamous communities, allow me to bring a fully sex-positive, gender-affirming, and culturally sensitive lens to the therapy space I create; an environment that is supportive and nonjudgmental for couples and individuals in a variety of relationship dynamics and structures.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a born and raised New Yorker. I’ve called Colorado home for over 15 years, where I enjoy spending time with my partners, chosen family, and my dog, Lucy. I am perpetually curious by nature, and I am always exploring new philosophies and ideas, traveling to new cities, connecting with new people, or noodling around in my inflatable kayak in one of Colorado’s many beautiful bodies of water.
