My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry; to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return.

About Kashmira
Welcome to The Cannon Institute!
As Practice Manager and Internship Coordinator, I work closely with our Practicum students by training them for their initial client contact through our clinical intake process and slowly building them up to begin seeing clients as Interns. As Practice Manager, I provide administrative support, billing, scheduling and work closely with all of our therapists to be sure they have all structures in place with regards to their day to day schedule maintenance and client support
Because I work closely with our population on the whole, I am always a text, call, or email away for all members of The Cannon Institute, whether you are a client or a clinician!
Wearing many hats, I have degrees in Psychology and Music and am also a Certified Lactation Counselor.
A bit about me: I come to The Cannon Institute with over 30 years of experience in the mental health and helping profession. My skills span from working as a counselor and a supervisor to counselors and teachers in an outpatient facility, the Denver Public School system, and private mental health facilities, treating adolescents, assisting new mothers with lactation needs both pre and post-natal, to performing Opera, and singing in a band.
I began my journey with Dr. Neil Cannon in the summer of 2020 and then added The Cannon Institute to my palate in 2023 as Practice Manager, Intake Specialist and Intern Coordinator . Being a member of The Cannon Institute Team and having the privilege to serve both our clinicians and our community has been one of my greatest joys !
It’s a pleasure to meet you!
