Kelsey Rellas
LPC-Intern

A somatic-influenced therapist who specializes in working with kink, non-traditional relationships, queer folx, and sex workers. I strive to empower clients to thrive using self-awareness, mindfulness, and body-centered approaches to reclaim the sacred in each one of us.

About Kelsey

Relationships – whether they are romantic, companionate, or familial – are the spice of life! I believe secure attachment to ourselves is foundational for all our relationships, which is why I enjoy working with individuals, as well as couples. I would love to help you feel more empowered in your relationship to yourself and others.

I am also interested in the work of Carl Jung and bringing up the things we may feel shame to talk about. Often, I think sex, sexuality, and gender are some of those topics that are shoved into the shadows. I am a big believer that life is not black and white, but rather, a spectrum of messy and beautiful existence. My hope is that clients will feel safe to explore their own terrain in this therapeutic space, so that we can embrace those shadows together!

I would like to help you build experiences in relationships that are tender, connected, compassionate and uplifting. I also work within the intersection of identities to reclaim an embodied experience of what it means to belong in this world and feel genuine pleasure in your body.

I work to help clients develop awareness of somatic sensations, emotion recognition, and discovery of their authentic desires, so they can live more fulfilling lives. As a queer-identified, sex-work friendly woman, I am passionate about providing more inclusive therapy to folx who deserve a place to feel free to be themselves.

In my “play time,” I can be found dancing in any setting that will let me, taking some me-time to recharge in the sun or by the ocean (when traveling), or nurturing my friendships + local community!
