I provide therapy to individuals, couples, and folks in relationship structures of all types. My specialties include kinks and fetishes, non-monogamy, and LGBTQ+ identities. My clients tell me they appreciate my style of balancing humor and hard work in the therapy room to help them achieve goals. I hope we can work together so I can help you create a more fulfilling life and relationships that are in alignment with your needs, desires, and values!

About Merissa

Hi! Thank you for being here. Therapy is a journey, and even being on this page represents a significant step. Whether you’re an individual, couple, polycule, or friendship unit, you have a place in therapy and I’m excited to work with you! My style is relational. That means we will work together to understand the constellation of your relationships, from the relationship you have with yourself to those you have with others: platonic, romantic, familial, and anything else important to you.

I specialize in anything that has to do with sex, intimacy, and relationships. My work often focuses on non-monogamy, kink/fetishes, gender identity, and sexual orientation. I have  specific experience supporting folks involved in ageplay dynamics, and identities, including DDLG and ABDL. My approach is sex-positive, non-judgmental, and pleasure-focused. No matter what brought you here, you deserve a space to be authentic and honest, accepted and safe. Therapy is often difficult and vulnerable, as well as tender and joyful. I strive to embrace all of these pieces, so our work together will likely involve a shared smile or two in between the heavier moments.

I’m passionate about folks of all identities and lifestyles receiving compassionate and informed care. This means that outside of the therapy room, you can find me teaching a course on non-monogamy and kink at University of Denver’s Graduate School for Social Work, or running peer support groups for ABDLs, vanilla partners and friends of ABDLs, or non-monogamous folks.
