Issues and conflict will arise in every relationship. But in healthy relationships, the deeper issue is recognized, and we work to chip away at it, moving from rupture to repair.

TJ Dubovich, MA, MFTC

Strength-based therapist who works with a variety of individuals and couples. My goal is to help you feel understood and supported as you work to achieve your goals.

About TJ

As an MFTC, one of the many ways I help my clients is by helping you leverage your current strengths, which may include your existing relationships. Whether you are an individual, couple, or family, I am solution-focused.  By that I mean, everyone has tremendous strength and resilience.  My job is to help you tap into yours so you can get to where you want to go.  I would love to be your guide in exploring your situation; and then build on what is working and provide tools and strategies to improve the parts of your life you want to change..

I identify as a white, queer man and specialize in working with those in the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as folks in non-monogamous relationship structures. I have a passion for working with people seeking support with depression, anxiety, sexual concerns, life transitions, gender/transition support, grief, premarital counseling, and relationship skill building.

In our sessions, you can expect an affirming, collaborative space where you can explore your feelings, experiences, and goals. I find that incorporating humor and play into the therapy room is often effective at making this serious work an enjoyable process for you. I personally have found the profound benefit of therapy in my life, and I look forward to walking that journey with you.

Outside of providing therapy, I love playing and watching sports/music, indulging my cinephile self, hiking with my kitties, and enjoying time with my partner, friends, and family.
